$500 Kevin Brill Memorial Scholarship - merit-based student-athlete scholarship program at Palm Springs High School.

$5,000 Mizell Senior Center - provides a year's meals for five shut-in seniors living in our community.
$1,000 Healthy Family Foundation - supports "The Desert Health Car". This program provides up to 10,000 annual free rides throughout the Coachella Valley for those economically challenged residents who require transportation to and from medical and health-related appointments.
$1,500 Desert AIDS Project - supports their Nutritional Services program providing assistance to over 2,200 individuals and their families.
$1,550 Palm Springs Community Concert Association - funds two student outreach concerts for the 2009 season. Each year past club member and former San Francisco symphony first violin Henry Shweid and his wife Munzi are honored by the Rotary Club of Palm Springs. The club's foundation sponsors an extra performance by touring professional members of the performing arts. Up to 1,100 students of the PSUSD get the opportunity to experience these highly professional performances in Palm Springs High School's large auditorium.
$3,000 Angel View - funds four camper ships at their Camp Forrest facility in Joshua Tree. This is a youth camp uniquely designed to accommodate and serve physically and mentally challenged individuals.
$2,045 YMCA of the Desert - purchases 100 folding wooden chairs to replace deteriorating metal chairs used for a variety of events hosted at their Palm Springs facility.
$2,000 Braille Institute - supports their new "Mobile Solutions" van which was scheduled to begin providing visual support services within the city of Palm Springs in March, 2008.
$1,000 SafeHouse of the Desert - third of five pledged $1,000 annual donations qualifying the club's foundation to become a donor Founder at the Champion level. This new facility, located in 1000 Palms, provides temporary accommodations and counseling for runaway teenagers. It provides law enforcement with an alternative for troubled youth in our area.
$2,500 Harry Mazur COD scholarships - five $500 semesters. The recipients are motivated to pursue additional formal education but lack the funds to do so. They are graduates of the PSUSD's continuing education program and have been referred by their instructors to Don Aikens. Don, educator and past president of the school board, interviews and submits each name for board approval. These need-based COD scholarships have served as the core of the club foundation's annual giving for many years.
$1,800 Angel View Prom - cost $4,000 for this high profile annual event. The club contributed $2,200 and requested that the club's foundation cover the balance.
